Volunteer Sales Associate ( should be willing to work a minimum of eight hours per month)
• Welcome and help customers
• Ring up purchases, answer questions, and take special orders
• Explain the unique aspect of a nonprofit store and tell stories about the artisans
• Clean up the store
Merchandising:
• help maintain store displays and move products when store displays are rearranged
Receiving:
• unpacking orders and checking the goods to the invoices
Promoting:
• spreading the word and advertising the shop
Fund Raising:
• getting financing or raising money to get started
